Teri Secrest, Young Living Independent Distributor and author of Eating Out of Heaven’s Garden, shared this recipe at the 2013 Young Living Essential Oils Grand Convention. Adding essential oils to your recipes not only enhances the flavor, it’s good for you!
1 Bunch fresh sweet basil (2 cups)
3 Cloves garlic
1/2 – 3/4 Cup olive oil
1/2 Cup parmesan cheese, grated
1-2 drops Young Living Basil Essential Oil
Salt to taste
Combine above ingredients in food processor. Keeps well up to three days in refrigerator.
Serve with penne pasta and toss in fresh diced tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, and grated parmesan cheese.[/notice]
