Inspiring words! My family got a chuckle when I recently opened a birthday gift from my mom. Why was I excited to receive a two-foot-long lopper?! First, I like to work outdoors and also, our bushes and trees need trimming! Something I’ve never done before, but I believe I can figure it out.
Many people have a fixed mindset and feel that their intelligence or talent is something they can’t change or improve. They believe that if they’re not naturally smart enough for something, then there’s no point in trying, which causes them to give up easily when faced with challenges and obstacles in life.
The good news is that you don’t have to accept this defeatist attitude! You can change your mindset from being stuck on yourself to having an open mind towards learning new skills and abilities through hard work, practice, and persistence.
