No one really likes to go to the dentist, do they?
I can honestly say since I’ve incorporated Young Living products into my daily oral care regimen, it’s no longer something I dread!
The dentist remarked to the hygienist about how great my tissues looked!
In fact, over the past few years I hear comments like: “Good to go!” “Keep it up!” “Nice healthy gums.” Looks like I’m on to something, right?
There are several great tips about brushing your teeth properly and using mouthwash regularly right here on the Young Living blog.
Because I’ve enjoyed such great results, you may consider trying my daily regimen as an option for keeping your mouth healthy … and for happy trips to the dentist office.
Step #1
Fill a Waterpik® Dental Water Flosser reservoir with lukewarm water and place it on the base, pressing down firmly to ensure full seating. Add a 1/2 cap full of Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash. Floss entire mouth, starting with the back teeth, pausing briefly between teeth.
Step #2
Try to be consistent brushing both morning and night. Each morning I choose to brush with Thieves® Dentarome Ultra Toothpaste. It’s is an advanced formula of all-natural ingredients that gently cleans and whitens your teeth while harnessing the power of pure, therapeutic-grade Thieves essential oil blend for fresh breath. Dentarome Ultra is preferred by those concerned with the appearance of whiter teeth.
Step #3
This step is the easiest to fall out of the routine … A dinner with friends may run late, or you just might be too tired from a long day to do anything but jump into bed. But really … how long does it take to clean your mouth before heading to bed? And it’s such a good practice if you want to enjoy your trips to the dentist!
Also, I would be remiss if I neglected to mention that I use a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush. If you’ve never tried a Sonicare toothbrush, I recommend you do!
I’m not really sure of a reason… maybe it’s the taste? Maybe it’s just become a habit! But at night, I typically choose to brush with Thieves® AromaBright Toothpaste.
So there you have it! A recipe to help you look forward to those visits to your dentist.
Just a couple of weeks ago, I was in for a check up with a new dentist as my previous dentist recently retired. The dentist remarked to the hygienist about how great my tissues looked … the hygienist replied, “Yes! Not a speck of blood today.”
