In these crazy times, we are all washing our hands much more often – and for a good reason! Who else is intent on healthy hands?! Keeping your hands clean is one of the most important things you can do to stay healthy and stop the spread of illness. It’s the first step towards protecting our families and enjoying healthy, safe communities.
But with all this handwashing going on… I don’t know about you, but my hands are getting dry, cracked, and irritated. Even with my Thieves® Foaming Hand Soap! Usually my favorite Thieves Foaming Hand Soap is not drying … but when you wash your hands so many times each day, how can it help but dry out your skin?
Here are 4 luxurious solutions to keep hands hydrated, soft and supple…
#4 may just surprise you!
A lightweight lotion that promises to bring your skin back to life! Lavender Hand & Body Lotion is formulated with Lavender essential oil and other plant-based ingredients to fortify your skin’s natural moisture barrier for long-lasting, sweet-smelling hydration.
Get hands as soft as rose petals with Rose Ointment™! Try this blend of Rose essential oil, Tea Tree essential oil and other natural, skin-soothing ingredients. Massage into those dry, chapped hands or anywhere you need a dose of hydration!
A tropical getaway from the comfort of your home! Coconut-Lime Replenishing Body Butter is a creamy, dreamy blend of Lime essential oil, coconut oil, and mango butter. The non-greasy formula is made without parabens, petrochemicals, colorants, or animal-derived ingredients, this vegan body butter is filled with skin-loving ingredients.
It may sound a bit kooky – but when I need some serious care for my hands (and feet and elbows – you name it!) I reach for Young Living’s Animal Scents Ointment. I’m not sure where the name comes from as it doesn’t smell like animals at all! It has an earthy aroma.
It’s a protective, soothing salve designed specifically for external use on animals. The gentle and safe formula is enhanced with pure Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) and Myrrh, two of nature’s most powerful essential oils.
And the cool part is that a portion of all proceeds from Animal Scents products goes to support Vital Ground, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the habitat of grizzly bears and other wide-roaming wildlife.
